	Welcome to the Official Website of the Chicopee-Aldenville American Legion Baseball Program Aldenville Post #337 and Chicopee Center Post #452 completed its first season with a combined "Senior Legion" team and a "Junior Legion" team. Like any first year program we encountered our share of roadblocks but thanks to the many dedicated people involved with both programs including the players, coaches, managers, parents, and fans were able to put together a successful season. Not having a Western Mass "Junior" league the Chicopee-Aldenville program logged many miles to play games in Eastern Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. After a second place finish at the Junior American Legion State Championships we qualified for the Northeast Regionals in Manchester NH. A semi-finals loss to Taunton, MA and a "losers bracket" win against the Connecticut State Champion earned us third place finish. The "Senior" team finished the regular season in second place and advanced to the Central/West Sectionals before bowing out of the playoffs. The "Senior" and "Junior" teams will again be traveling to Rhode Island to compete at the Firecracker Invitational from June 30th - July 3rd. We are also planning a trip to Coooperstown, NY to play a game on Doubleday Field and visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. 	SENIOR LEGION BASEBALL Central-Western Sectional Tournament The senior Chicopee-Aldenville American Legion Baseball split a doubleheader and was knocked out of the sectional tournament. In the first game, D.J. LaValley pitched a complete game shutout as Chicopee-Aldenville defeated the top seeded Northbridge team for the second time in three days. The second game of the day for Chicopee-Aldenville proved to too much as Worcester (East Side) Post 201 scored eleven (11) first inning runs enroute to a 13-1 victory and earning a bid in the 2011 State Championships. Thanks to all our players, coaches, parents, and fans for another successful season. We are looking forward to 2012.		JUNIOR LEGION BASEBALL Massachusetts State Tournament The junior Chicopee-Aldenville American Legion Baseball team was eliminated from the 2011 State Championships on Saturday 30 July. Fighting from the loser's bracket, Chicopee-Aldenville fell behind Plymouth 6-0 after three innings . While blanking Plymouth the remaining four innings Chicopee-Aldenville could only generate two runs and fell by a final score of 6-2. Thanks to all our players, coaches, parents, and fans for another successful season. We are looking forward to 2012.
